How much does it cost to join the club?Annual membership fees for adult members are £150 for our club plus £60.50 for a full diving membership (less for joint members, juniors and students) for BSAC HQ (see https://www.bsac.com/membership/rejoin-today/ for full details). For new members who are learning to dive there is an additional cost of £49 + P&P which covers your Ocean Diver training pack and logbook. Prices for qualified divers wishing to join us are the standard club and BSAC fees together with the cost of any training materials required for additional training requirements s. Should a crossover course be necessary; this is likely to be in the region of £49 + P&P too.

Where do you dive?Open water training takes place generally in the early and later parts of the year in UK quarries such as Capernwray in Cumbria, Eccleston Delph in Lancashire, and Stoney Cove in Leicestershire. During the summer months we dive at various locations around the UK coastline such as Anglesey, Newquay, Plymouth, Scapa Flow, Selsey, St Abbs, The Farne Islands and Weymouth. Additionally, an overseas dive is organised each year for club members; recent trips have been to Egypt, the Maldives, and Norway.

I've trained with PADI, can I still join the club?No matter your skill level, you can jump straight in with our club without the need to retrain. Your current diving certification has an equivalent BSAC qualification and, if you'd like to further your training, you can carry on from there.

Do you offer try dives?Yes! We offer free try dives

Can I become an instructor?Yes! Our club is self-reliant on our members and our instructors. We offer support for our members who are looking to progress through the instructor route.

How old do you have to be to learn to scuba dive?We do not offer try dives or training for anyone below the age of 12.
