Potteries Divers is more than just a dive club, we are a family that continues to grow. We are an active, non-profit, scuba diving club based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. We have our own fully qualified instructors, meeting weekly to train and develop skills amongst our members; instruction is free with club membership.
The club organises regular dive trips in and around the UK for members, and annually to more exotic overseas locations. Whether wreck diving is your passion, or you prefer scenic dives with ocean life, Potteries Divers can cater for you.
If you have never dived before but would like to learn more about scuba diving and discover a whole new world underwater, then why not come along to our pool and have a Try Dive? Alternatively, if you are a qualified diver looking for some new dive buddies, we recognise qualifications from all the major training organisations and would welcome you into our club. If you have always wanted to learn to dive or are simply curious about scuba diving, then a Try Dive with BSAC12 Potteries Divers is the perfect introduction!
One of our many BSAC Instructors will introduce you to the basic underwater skills and equipment needed to experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the very first time. Unlike most other clubs, we offer try dives which typically last about 45 minutes. This will involve poolside tuition on diving techniques and equipment, followed by a scuba dive in our club pool with a BSAC-qualified instructor.
